Hi, I’m Liz,

but my family calls me Bee.

Art has always been in my bones. As a child, I spent much of my time in the woods and gardens of the Northeastern American coast learning of the surrounding plant life, reading fantastic tales and fables, and dreaming of the faraway lands of fairy-folk, wise women, warriors, and goddesses. As an avid animal-lover, I worked the essence of my forest friends into every piece of art or story I created, and I still carry that with me today in the historic city of Mobile, AL.

Using techniques and materials such as lead-free tin soldering, natural bone preservation, acrylic paint, hand building clay, and pyrography, I create one-of-a-kind pieces of art with an organic and unique voice. I am inspired by nature, the occult, dark fairy tales and legends, animal spirits and totems, and the Sacred Feminine. One aspect of art I particularly enjoy is creating works from the bones of naturally deceased animals, giving life and beauty again to those once cold and breathless. Each one-of-a-kind piece has its own story, and I take into account the metaphysical and healing properties of the stones, woods, plants, colors, sigils, and creatures that form them.
